About Carine Masri

Carine Masri is the founder and managing attorney of Masri Legal Group. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2014 and earned her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012.

Her practice centers on immigration law, with a particular focus on removal and deportation defense, asylum, and family-based immigration, and has expanded to family law, criminal defense, estate planning, and personal injury.

She has extensive experience in immigration law, with a particular focus on removal and deportation defense, asylum, family-based immigration, and complex immigration matters before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Having grown up in an immigrant family, Carine Masri understands that immigration cases are about far more than documents and legal procedures. They involve families, careers, security, opportunity, and the ability to build a life in the United States.

Over the years, her practice has expanded beyond immigration to assist clients facing other significant legal issues involving their families, freedom, future, and financial security.

She is fluent in English and Arabic.

Before law school, she studied political science and public administration at Oakland University, graduating in 2007.
